Mailmaster Compact Flats Inserter

The KAS 465CM Compact Mailer handles #10 to 10” x 13” envelopes, inserting at speeds of up to 5000 per hour. A modular system, the KAS 465CM offers flexibility, durability, and ease of set-up.

The systems is equipped 2 Side pocket insert stations that handle a wide variety of materials including single sheets, cards, reply envelopes, half and tri-folded items and thicker booklets up to 3/8” thick

The standard sheet feeder folder handles 8.5" x 14.0" forms, 2 fold plates are to meet every fold requirement. Changeover between jobs takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes even when switching from a #10 to a 10”x13” envelope.

Each insert station has miss, double, low product and jam sensors. There are further sensors on the machine to check the path of the documents through the system. Any error automatically stops the machine and the location of the error is shown on the touch screen.

The modular design allows for upgrade-ability of the sheet-feeder at anytime to include any of the feeders offered by KAS directly to the system or in combination with the set-collator-folder or the high capacity loader. OMR (optical mark reading), barcode, 2D barcode, or OCR are available to facilitate batching of the prime document, selection of inserts, matching with insert stations, envelope marking, mail sortation, mail sortation and integrity control.
