With easy-to-use, point-and-click software, unlimited print capability and graphics in as many as four colors, the print performance of the BK660 is unbeatable. You’ll produce mail pieces you’ll be proud of…great addresses, barcodes, indicias, sales messages, logos on everything from porous to glossy stock. An on-board PC with full-color VGA screen displays print records, production status and production reports and full diagnostics. Plus the system is TrueType font compatible so you can load in as many fonts as you want.

Latest Technology

Like all Buskro equipment, the new universal base has been engineered with state-of-the-art operating systems. Rear guides improve material feeding and an electronic gap controller automatically measures the first piece in a run and sets the gap or pitch between pieces. The new base can adjust the gap setting from 1" to 5". This allows the unit to run at peak efficiency at all times. With the addition of a blower and a new vacuum chamber design, product transport is improved on the vacuum tabletop. Material feeding is also vastly improved with the vacuum pump now dedicated to the shuttle feeder. With this base you get high volume and outstanding print results.

Print Technologies

You choose the print technology you want, and Buskro delivers. Choose from our standard Trident, or our new HPQ or Elite printheads. The Elite produces impeccable images from 300 to 600 DPI on flats, magazines, catalogs, books, inserts, inside of folded pieces and more. The HPQ features colored inks, DPI ranges from 150 to 600 x 600, and speeds in excess of 25,000 pieces per hour.

Production reports

New Compose ’98™ software features extensive reporting capabilities to help track production history. With exact operating information, production managers can determine profitability of each job down to the penny.

Software upgrades

New Compose ’98 software has been improved to enable operation in the Windows 95/98™ environment. Along with the new production reports, user-defined list formats, password protection and new zip sort capabilities have been added.

Easy operation

The unit has been designed with the operator in mind. Printhead bridges automatically adjust to different material thickness up to 1 1/8 ", so there’s no downtime for changeover. The printhead hosing has been enclosed to prevent accidental shocking and depriming. Enclosed hosing, belts and gears, along with hidden cables, improve safety and overall operation. In addition, a one directional hand-wheel immediately shuts down if anything comes in contact with it. When it comes to safety, the Buskro 600 Series Base meets the most stringent global standards.

Heavy-duty construction

One look tells you this unit is built tough. It’s larger and more robust. The base features 1/2" heavy-duty brushed aluminum transport. Plus, an enclosed vacuum pump chamber and added insulation reduce noise significantly.
